Welcome to Night Vale Episode Transcripts — Night Vale Presents

I suppose this is it for this blog.

I’m genuinely a bit sad, writing the transcripts has been fulfilling and kept me committed to the show for a while now.

Little by little, the Tumblr fandom has been dwindling, and maybe it’s time to put this blog on hiatus anyway, but keep the old content up.

Thanks to everyone who has been following, reblogging and correcting my mistakes. And above all huge thanks to ahnsael for keeping this blog going for years and trusting me to continue his work. I have really enjoyed writing here and keeping up with this community effort.

175 - The October Monologues

[static]
[slightly distorted]
The trees are dying again.
You know it, I know it.
The trees know it.
They have known it for decades, centuries in some cases.
The shiver of cyclic, symbolic death.
A rattle in the cold night air.
A rustle in the footsteps of a hungry deer.
It is October and something is different.
It is October and the trees draw the crackling red and orange curtain in the year’s final act.
It is October, and so listeners, dear listeners,
Night Vale community radio is proud to introduce
The October Monologues.

Re: bonus episodes

Some people have asked about this. The old bonus episodes are still available, but due to my current financial issues, I am not a WTNV Patron, so I don’t have access to any current bonus episodes. Apologies, I’ll let you know when the situation changes.

Welcome to Night Vale

cecilbaldwin-fan:

September 24, WTNV will do a live stream of “The Sandstorm”! That’s right, episode 19 (A&B), with guest roles written. This has never been performed live before. Featuring Kevin R. Free, Jasika Nicole, Symphony Sanders, and of course Cecil Baldwin and Disparition.

Pay what you can starting at 5 dollars.

This is so cool, I can’t wait! You can still access “The Librarian” at the same link.

cecilbaldwin-fan:

They’re live streaming “The Librarian”!

This was my very first WTNV live show, I saw it in Helsinki in October 2014 and it was a magical fun time. Looking forward to the live stream! Tickets in the link!

Welcome to Night Vale

cecilbaldwin-fan:

The WTNV cast are performing “Condos” in a live stream on July 9! Tickets at the link, 6.50 or pay what you can. The stream will be up for a month.

“Condos” is the first live show, originally premiered in SF Booksmith in San Fransisco in 2013. Joseph and Cecil did a mini tour of it the same fall, and the first bigger performance of it was in New York in late (December?) 2013. That was Dylan Marron’s first performance as the voice of Carlos.

The upcoming live performance is a revised version, including Symphony Sanders and Meg Bashwiner. The weather will be performed Danny Schmidt and Carrie Elkin, who have worked with WTNV since 2014.
